Lyrically, this song narrates a discussion between a man and time, impersonating it as a human being. The man feels envy by not being able to move along and leave it all behind, without second thoughts, not having more opportunities than just one life that ends when time decides, begging for one more chance to live in freedom and prove what he’s made of
Instrumentally, it’s a mix between progressive metal and metalcore, influenced by Dream Theater, Symphony X, Veil Of Maya and Periphery amongst others.
It houses an instrumental section of about two minutes, slightly influenced by “Cupid’s Dead” by Extreme.
