VETO was a German Heavy Metal band wich had certain own characteristics like class and high quality . Born out of the mind of the original nucleus of guitarists Roger Bredel and Klaus Schile. Veto was formed in the early 80's, having several troubles regarding line up. Later on, they got a very competent vocalist in Harry Liebhauser, who also played keyboards. Bass player Peter Schlattner joined the band, sadly no drummer was capable of sitting behind the drum kit as a permanent member of the band.
By 1984 they got a contract with the German label GAMA recs, known by having in their roost bands like GRAVESTONE, NOISEHUNTER, STORMWITCH, TYRANT, etc. The time for the recording of their debut LP was closing but still they didn't have a drummer, so label-bossPeter Garattoni decided to play drums as a session musician.
