THEODORE ZIRAS was born in Poros, Greece. He started taking music theory, piano and guitar lessons at age 15, when he become fascinated with musicians of high virtuosity and technique. When he reached 18 years of age, he moved Athens to further continue his training and studies in guitar, as well as in music theory, jazz harmony, rhythm & counterpoint.
Between 1994 and 1998 he played in his first serious band, the power metal Greek outfit ICE DIVINE. Also, he was lead guitar in legendary progsters GUARDIAN ANGEL from 1997 till1998. In that time he had the oportunity to perform along metal mosnters like ICED EARTH.
Near the end of 1998 ZIRAS left Greece, in order to continue his music studies at the prestigious Guitar Institute of London. 2001 saw him graduating with Honors with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance & Composition.
