THE SIXTH INCUBATOR was formed in the beginning of 2002 as a solo-project of the INCUBATOR-mainman chris mummelthey and producer stefan schunke. the idea was to release some unconventional albums with sound-roots in the early 80/90th grindcore legends like righteous pigs, defecation, napalm death, carcass and pungent stench. a modern touch of industrial and freestyle integrated... the band released worldwide 2 albums in the time of 2002-2003 and 1 EP for the 10th anniversary of the german "skullcrusher-magazine", the albums were strictly limited to 500 pcs. and sold out (with luck, you´ll find them on ebay, no re-release planed!). the german underground label "cudgel agency" was the the home of THE SIXTH INCUBATOR. the project never played live! at this time T6I are working with their mainbands, stefan works with DER VIERTE STAND and chris will release the "6th" ;) INCUBATOR-album "lieBISSlieder" in march 2008. there is no further album
