French quartet SWORN was formed around 2003, and citing bands like Celtic Frost, Anathema, Opeth and Faith No More as some of their muses they have worked at developing the band since then.

In 2009 their line-up stabilized, consisting of Joel (guitars), Anthony (bass), Florent (drums) and Florian (vocals). They found the time right to hit the studio at this point, and the result of those sessions was issued as the EP (Sworn) in 2010.
