It was 1980, mid/tail end of the NWOBHM, Steevi Jaimz fronted the band TREASON who were a metal band very much in the vein of Black Sabbath. After morphing from Treason into the legendary CRASH KO. Steevi, together with Phil Vokins and Ace Finchum recorded two classic demos. Unfortunately they were forced to go their separate ways in 1983. In 1984, after years on the circuit a call came from Leicester based glamsters CHINA ROGUE (Incidentally, one of the best bands he’d ever been in), and after a swift audition joined the band. Ironically one of the first shows with CHINA ROGUE was at a place called Bogies in Cardiff in late ‘84, which played a big part in the band he was to join later!! CHINA ROGUE split into different directions.
Steevi ended up playing on with drummer Mark Godfrey, who later joined another Leicester band CHROME MOLLY. Fast forward
