Steak Number Eight is an atmospheric sludge metal band, heavily influenced by such bands as Tool, Deftones, Pelican, Isis and Neurosis. The band was founded in Wevelgem, West Flanders in 2005. They won a prestigious 'Humo Rock Rally'.

Current line-up consists of Jesse Surmont (Bass), Joris Casier (Drums), Cis Deman (Guitars) and Brent Vanneste (Guitars, Vocals).
