Sacred Blade was formed in 1981 in Vancouver, B.C. Canada by Jeff Ulmer(guitar, vocals), Will Rascan(guitars), Paul Davis on drums and Tony Moser on bass recorded two demos in 1992 and 1993 whiched garnered the band some international recognisation and caught the attention of Metal Blade Records and was offered the top slot on the label's "Metal Massacre 4" compilation using a new re-mix of thier song "Alien" with new bassist James Channing coming into the fold.
The band was under contract with Roadrunner Records and stared to record thier debut in the fall of 1984 and then hit the road opening for Raven, Exciter, Exodus and replaced Metallica as top bill in Seattle in 1985.
