'Quicksand' was the second single off of the Canadian hard rock/metal band, Finger Eleven's debut album, "Tip". Starting off "Tip" as the first song, this is not a bad comeback song from their original "Rainbow Butt Monkey"'s feel of music. The song's lyrical value improves greatly, and sounds normal and not forced whatsoever. Also unique to the song, is the fact that Anderson does not go into his soprano tone, which he uses greatly throughout the other songs on the album. As said before, the lyrics and the singing in 'Quicksand' seem much more complex and less simple and nonsensical. 'Quicksand' is definitely one of the best songs from the album, and deserves it's title of second single from "Tip".
