Goodbye Thrill is a melodic rock band that was formed by Dean Cramer, the guitarist of Funny Money (Steve Whiteman's band) with huge vocals like what Firehouse, Danger Danger, or Harem Scarem did in the 90s, but this time with a bit of contemporary feel. Marc Ferreira takes the duty as the singer and his voice is quite close to Trixter's Peter Loran. The sound production is smooth and most of the songs here were written by Ferreira. Cramer delivered some notable solos and delicious licks here and the band provided well-rehearsed harmonic vocals to most of the song's chorus.

My best picks of the album are "Let Me Sleep", "Dead To Me", "Fallen Heroes", "Leap of Faith", and "Taste" but the rest of the album also pretty shiny and likable and perhaps only "Hungry" that I think is a misplaced filler. Goodbye Thrill's debut can be a sweet soothing sanctuary when you're relaxing at your sofa at home or driving slow by the beach with windows rolled down and watch those girls playing volleyball, but just don't expect a hard-edge glam anthem album like Kix or Keel (and please note that Marc Ferreira isn't Marc Ferrari).
