Remembering Vixen, Heart, Lita Ford, Laos, Robin Beck, or some other female fronted rock will probably recall you of another band called Femme Fatale, fronted by Lorraine Lewis, when they released their sole album in 1988. But if you didn't remember anything, don't worry, I don't think their record is worth remembering, aside from the fact that this is ridiculously overrated and sold beyond the value and quality of the disc. Lewis' voice is inferior compared to the likes of Gurdun Laos or Lita Ford, but the band was saved by some good guitar solos and riffs performed by Mazzi Rawd. He actually is nothing spectacular but at least he outshines everybody in his band here.

I will say there are only three good tracks on this album. First one is the opener, "Waiting For The Big One" with its catchy chorus, second is "Falling In And Out of Love", and the last one is "Back In Your Arms Again". The rest seven tracks actually aren't that horrible except the lousy "Rebel" with Lewis' annoying vocal, but they definitely missed something powerful and memorable, degrading most of them to decent and average state. Take a look at "My Baby's Gun", "Touch And Go", or "If". I sense a potential on those tracks but looks like it was done in a hurry and carelessly composed. I have nothing to say about "Heat The Fire" and "Cradle's Rockin", they're completely filler, but actually couple fillers are acceptable at least you can spawn more than 50% killer tracks.

With a not-so-good singer, decent rhythm section, and couple of great tracks, you can't expect me to give this more than 1.5 stars. "Femme Fatale" is only for glam hardcore, completist, or female-fronted lover, other than that, avoid at all cost.
