Quell formed in 2001 however the band was around before that. Before changing their name to QUELL thay were A Kiss Before Dying and were on the list to play Ozzfest, supposedly they could not come up with the required fees and their slot went to crazy town. Prior to that they were called andreas truth and rumor is they are connected to bands like prayer for cleansing, between the buried and Glass Casket, Gadrel and probably others through line up changes and simply helping out with shows and such. (if anyone has actual info about these line up changes please add it). It has been said they frequently changed their name and if a member left or a new member came in they would change it.
