Forming in Woodley near Reading in 1976, Predatür learned all their tricks from a Status Quo songbook.

Despite seemingly to be never off the gig circuit - their profile was so high in Reading that they were considered for the first local band slot in 1982's prestigious festival, losing out narrowly to Prog Rockers, Twelfth Night - and being among the select ranks of those who cut a 7" which is now very collectable, Predatür have yet to make it into the NWoBHM hall of fame.

In 2005, they finally got around to releasing an album, which is called "Mean". It is impossible to concieve that they have stopped gigging.
