POCCOLUS picture
Poccolus is a pagan black metal band from the town of Utena, Lithuania, created back in 1993. It is probably the first pagan black metal band in Lithuania, which chose Lithuanian mythology as a base for its lyrics. The band’s name refers to the ancient Prussian-Lithuanian god of Death and Darkness, Pikuolis. Poccolus has released the full-length album “Poccolus”, in 1996. They have a demo too, “Kingdom of Poccolus”, which was released in 1994. In the year of 2006, Poccolus’ cult album “Poccolus” was brought back by SUPERNAL MUSIC, which re-released this “gem from the Baltic”. In 2009 was released full-length album “Ragana”.
