The band formed in 1988 and split up in '93. In '98 they reformed to record an album as an honor to former bass player Dan "Zodiac Iller" Hogan who had recently passed away. The band is notable for including rap intros and interludes in their songs. Stinkweed has also apparently started a rap group.
