80's came and with them the best decade that Heavy Metal has lived in Spain and the rest of the world. In its early began to develop the birth of the most representative band of Heavy Metal Spanish, howitzers, along with Red Baron.

In the early months of 1980 two young locals, Juan Luis Serrano and Francisco Laguna, bassist and guitarist, already agreed in other bands such as Red Box and Madrid 20, decided to form shells, not knowing yet that would revolutionize the entire music scene the decade. To complete the group decided to call the drummer Manolo Caño (Deck), from then on the Prepare OBUS begin to compose songs that would become their first vinyl. They continued until April 1981, the month in which Manolo Caño is replaced by Fernando Sanchez, while Sanchez Fortu incorporates vocals.
