NEMESIS was a Swedish doom metal act formed in 1982. The band featured later CANDLEMASS members Leif Edling and Christian Weberyd. NEMESIS only released the 1984 "The Day of Retribution" EP and a couple of 1984 demos before disbanding. Some of NEMESIS songs where later reworked into CANDLEMASS songs.
