Horror of Horrors are an American death metal band from Silver Spring, Maryland formed in 1994. Between '94 and '97 they released three albums, a 7'' single and a split with Florida death metallers Judecca. The band has achieved cult-like status through out the extreme metal community since their impactful 1994 debut Sounds of Eerie.
Original founding members are Aantar Lee Coates, Michael Marchewka, H.M. Lopez and Buddy Buell. Aantar coates currently leads Diabolic in death metal mecca Tampa Fl.
According to the band's official MySpace page (www.myspace.com/horrorofhorrorsdeathmetal) they are re-releasing the first two CDs through Thrash Corner records remixed and remastered in early 2010.
An ongoing rumor of an offical reunion and brand new record has been comfirmed as well. The band will commence recording the new material in Tampa with Morbid Angel/Terrorizer producer Juan "Punchy" Gonzalez. This is exciting news to the band's fans as they
