Brooklyn, New York based heavy metal/power metal band, ironically best known for their cover of New Wave classic "Hungry Like The Wolf" by British fopsters Duran Duran. Formed in 1990, Gothic Knights released a self titled debut album in 1996, and a followup in 1999 entitled "Kingdom of the Knights" both on the Sentinel Steel. For 2003's self released Up from the Ashes, which included their version of "Hungry Like The Wolf", the original members; guitarist John Tsantakis, bassist Mario Cosentino and vocalist Rick Sanchez were joined by former Virgin Steele drummer Frank Gilchriest
