If I had to choose, it would be a tie between the title track and 'Infinite Dreams'. I'll go with 'Infinite Dreams' Smile

Man, this one's hard. There's some polls where it's hard to pick an option because nothing deserves a vote, but this one is the exact opposite: 7 songs are getting ripped off no matter how I vote. With that said, I went with Only the Good Die Young, both because it's awesome and because it didn't have any votes yet.

I love this album as well.  On a whim I went with the Clairvoyant.

I'll vote for Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (song) and pretend I voted for Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (album).

It took me a minute or so to try and figure out what song that was LOL. Then I realized that it was The Clairvoyant

The title track is my favorite song from the band aside from the last two on Powerslave.

I love this album!
But I chose Can I Play With Madness because I happy singing, I'm glad, since little like her.
But I love
the song title (Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son), the middle of it with the lower flow is sensational and The Evil That Men Do too, I smile. ;)

I absolutely love the intricate structure of the title track, and the amount of drama the individual parts bring into each other.

Really difficult choice, but considering I HAVE to choose one track, I'll say Infinite Dreams (though in reality, I love the entire album).

I'd pick them all.

This is certainly one of my favorite traditional metal albums ever. I only prefer one Rainbow album, two Priest albums, and Powerslave to this when speaking of my favorite traditional metal bands.

Hmmm, there are no songs I like on this album.  I normally don't listen any further than Powerslave.

I guess you´re just more into old school trad metal stuff then.

Hmmm sort of.  To me Maiden just really lost their touch after Powerslave.  Each to their own though, everyone has different tastes :)

To me, they started losing their touch on No Prayer for the Dying with Fear of the Dark and The X Factor being okay and Virtual XI being quite bad. When Bruce and Adrian came back, though, a new golden age for the band started. this may be fanboyism, but I can't think of any weak moment on any of their first seven albums.

I don't want to hate on Blaze Bayley, because he did a fine job back in the Wolfsbane days (Down Fall the Good Guys is a pretty damn good album), and he did okay on The X Factor. However, his performance on Virtual XI is pretty horrible at times. I just think that his singing style did not fit Iron Maiden's music. It's not his fault that the two Bayley-fronted albums were not super good, because the quality in the songwriting and production on those albums was not up to scratch either.

Virtual XI is my least favorite Maiden album as well, but I thought it was okay. I like "The Clansman" a lot, even though I prefer the Rio version. I think you're right about the songwriting on the Blaze albums though. I can't really find a weak song on the first seven either, not even on Killers.

No one else showing any love for The Prophecy, so I will. Yes, it's cheesy as fuck, but I was reading a lot of fantasy fiction when this came out.
