Name some riffs that just scream "METAL!" when you hear them. They don't have to be your favourite riffs, or even from bands you like. Here's some that come to mind for me: Gojira--Flying Whales (at 2:28) Death--Bite the Pain (at 0:42) Strapping Young Lad--Love (the whole thing  ) |

Crushingly brutal opening riff on this track. I´ve always loved it.
One of the tracks that really got me interested in extreme metal back in the day.
Relatively simple, yet effective
...and yeah I´m a GIANT Slayer fan, so I had to post a couple of vids by them
