I'd like to see what this site's favorite black metal album this year was.  I'm only highlighting the ones that have been generating a lot of buzz from the greater black metal community or are from well established bands.  Full-lengths only.

I know a lot of old school Black metal heads loathe the new Satyricon, but I found it among my favorites this year. A great album that gets my vote.

The new Rotting Christ grabbed my attention more than any other black metal album this year. Amazing stuff!

I haven't had much time to explore black metal this year (I basically haven't had a lot of time for anything), so I have not heard a single release on the list... well, I've heard some fragments of the Saryticon album. I guess I'm not very kvlt.

I do know you reviewed Cultes Des Ghoules' Henbane.  It's not an insightful review though which tells me you listened to it once and then reviewed it (which is never recommended).
