I know they aren't normally considered a metal band, and I haven't heard any of their albums, but Wikipedia & Allmusic tag them as alternative metal and nu metal, there are also some very metal riffs on their cover of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal |

| Judging by what i've read i'd imagine they sound pretty similar to the lighter, more alternative rock sounding nu metal bands like Linkin Park and Papa Roach, and those bands are on here, so i think they would fit in alright in alternative metal or possibly hard rock. |
