Can I suggest Robin Trower (as traditional heavy rock) for this forum, or is it heresy?

One of the basic principles we have here is that each artist fits a certain sub-genre of Metal. Therefore, we tend to take the distinction between rock and metal quite seriously. However, if you believe they belong in one of those metal sub-genres, we would certainly give them some consideration.

Robin Trower metal ?

ok for Jeff Beck as a pioneer of heavy metal ('truth' and 'beck ola' are bluesy hard rock albums) but Robin Trower ?
