Hello one and all, As you can guess from the subject, I'm trying to think of a band name. The band I plan on attaching this name to is an experimental metal one, so don't want a "normal" name. You can decipher for yourself what I mean by not normal, just something...out-there. Something just cool. Kinda like SUNN O))) or V�id...if you catch my drift. But I'm really open to anything as I do really like band names like Fen and Deathspell Omega as well. I'm just too unoriginal to come up with something...which is why I'm asking the lot of you! Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!  -------------

To be honest, I'd hate for someone not in my band to come up with my bandname. It makes for a pretty lame story IMO. However, it worked for Metallica and Dream Theater among other bands, so who am I to say? I think you should call your band 'D�dsstr�le' - it has two signs that are exotic to English speakers, but actually means something in its language of origin.

IMAGINARY FRENZ
I wont go into the different ways you could take advantage of this name but it makes a great acronym. "Hey man, whatchoo doin t'nite? " We got tix to go see IF."

I always wanted to name a band VAN CAB, instead we became SolidFusion (<= note the pun of fusing the two words). -------------  Wait... are those suspenders?!? |

I always thought of a parody band named Horrible Mess. I even thought of song titles and album names like "Garbage For Sale" and "Involuntary Racism". -------------
