Part of a series of polls I am running: based on actual data, for acts with at least a dozen studio albums. Which of the five lowest rated (data from RYM, since they have a greater rating base) do you find underappreciated, if any?

Albums are listed from the lowest rated up (RYM rating in brackets).

For Paradise Lost - a rare case for a band with this many studio albums not to have any sub-3.0's on RYM - I'd actually say that all of this are fairly rated, although maybe you feel different, so I'm not letting my view stop me from including a poll on them. If Medusa were in the bottom five I would have gone for that but it just misses it.

Lost Paradise. OK, an unimaginative title, but one of the first to incorporate doom and death metal. It's underdeveloped and immature, but it still has an unsubtle charm.

Funny story I picked up from the Talking Bollocks podcast (hosted by H from Acid Reign): Paradise Lost's first live gig was second support for Acid Reign. They had so few songs at the time they played one of them twice in a half hour set, and no one thought they would ever amout to anything!

Host, for me. Yes it's a bit "poppier" compared to all their other stuff but I don't think that detracts from the quality. I like it quite a bit.

Host is probably the most underrated of their albums, because it´s so different from the rest. I´ve turned quite a few non metal loving Depeche Mode fans on to Paradise Lost by playing them that particular album.

But I´ll probably have to go with Symbol of Life, which is rarely mentioned but to my ears is probably their strongest album from their "weak" middle phase.
