First in a series of polls I intend to put up: based on actual data, for acts with at least a dozen studio albums. Which of the five lowest rated (data from RYM, since they have a greater rating base) do you find underappreciated, if any? Albums are listed from the lowest rated up (RYM rating in brackets). My vote for Iron Maiden goes to The Final Frontier. While I don't think any Iron Maiden album should really be under 3.0, I do at least understand why the other ones on this bottom five aren't as well liked. The Angel and the Gambler's biggest problem is that it's bloated. It really doesn't need to be Iron Maiden epic length. I've gone with X-factor. Actually preferred it to the next Blaze album. I play all of these at least occasionally, so really need an "All of them" option to tick

I have a particular soft spot for The X Factor, but yeah, they're all too low for my tastes. The Final Frontier suffers from opening with a whimper instead of a bang, but from track 3 onwards it's very solid.
