I don't know why, but I was never able to add albums under the Non-Metal genre. Every time I try, it appears an error message.

Like, the most recent release from The Gathering (http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/gathering-the/beautiful-distortion). I put under Metal Related to not lose my work. If someone can fix it... Thanks.

Which Non-Metal tag are you trying to use?

There are two.

One, the real one, is found in the alphabetical list of genres and has no reason not to work.

The other is right down the bottom of the list under Other and does not work, because it doesn't actually exist.

It's been that way since changes to the sub-genre structure were first made.

Do not ask me why the second one remains in this list to this day, it is a mystery only M@X can answer.
