It's time to get miserable again. Pick your favourite DSBM album from the current MMA top 12 on the sub-genre page.

Can´t say it´s a genre I´ve investigated much, but I love me some Shining, so I´ve given The Eerie Cold a vote.

I have heard precisely none of those.

From these I've heard:

Xasthur - To Violate the Oblivious, Subliminal Genocide & Telepathic With the Deceased (all solid but no clear favourites)
Levaithan - The Tenth Sub Level of Suicide (don't get the hype)
Shining - V: Halmstad (very good though only listened to it once)
Todesstoß - Ebne Graun (like it a lot and also the one I'm most familiar with, my vote goes here)

There's a few more on this list I'm interested in, including the new Shining one. There's also a few DSBM albums I've picked up in job lots that I quite enjoy that aren't reflected here, possibly because no one else here has heard of them. LOL

I'll go with Leviathan, though I've not explored this subgenre as much as I thought I had.
