This is something I've been wondering for a while, but just haven't bothered asking before. How do the top album pages work for the number of ratings an album has to have in order to get in the top list and why are they all different? ------------- If I say fuck two more times that's forty-six fucks in this fucked up rhyme |

I'm not sure of the specifics may Max has a custom algorithm for determining the charts and I expect it's someone based on averages and rating weights. I'm sure there must be a better way to generate these charts though: it makes no sense when an album can appear on the chart of a parent sub-genre but nowhere on the chart for the child sub-genre it's actually placed in. |
