OK, I can't find another thread about this, and it's December now, so Christmas isn't too far away. I don't start listening to Christmas music until 1st December, and then thrash it for the next 25 days!Smile

I know it's not to everyone's taste, but I like a cheesy Christmas song or carol done metal or punk style, or being parodied. I'm looking for Christmas music recommendations, sticking to metal, punk and comedy. I've got:

A Very Twisted Christmas and A Twisted X-mas: Live In Vegas - Twisted Sister
Christmas with The Vandals: Oi To The World - The Vandals
Horny Holidays - Mojo Nixon
Kev's Kristmas - Kevin Bloody Wilson
A South Park Christmas
The Classic Christmas Hard Rock Album (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Halford and various guitar heroes. Must add it to the compilations page.)
Die Roten Rosen - Wir Warten Auf's Christkind - Die Toten Hosen
Monster Rock Ballad Christmas (all sorts of dreadful glam metal bands)

And I've got a few of the usual shit compilations, along with Looney Tunes and Muppet Christmas albums, and a fairly reasonable Rat Pack Christmas album (Love Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin, not so keen on Sinatra).

This is the only metal Christmas music I'm familiar with, from the comedy metal band Psychostick:

Jingle Bell Metal:

Happy Fucking New Year:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgCGsW6XNls" rel="nofollow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgCGsW6XNls

Holiday Hate:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHe6fPPiWqg" rel="nofollow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHe6fPPiWqg

Didn't want to post a bunch of videos, as I know that will make the page take longer to load.

I know you already mentioned South Park, but I can't not mention Faith +1:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R32w31kW-uY" rel="nofollow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R32w31kW-uY

Don't forget CHRISTMAS WITH THE DEVIL by SPINAL TAP or that whole Christmas album by TWISTED SISTER. There's also a great instrumental guitar album called MERRY AXEMAS.

Joan Jett and Billy Squier also had Christmas songs in the 80s

The video for this new Psychostick Christmas song is pretty funny:

I find most Christmas music irritating and cheesy. Not saying i don't like it just that i find very little that sounds worthy of being recorded

This is huge in the US, not sure about the rest of the world but i still like this one a lot. Everyone here grew up watching these cartoons
Vince Guaraldi - A Charlie Brown Christmas - album cover

and of course Dr Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas is now a modern day classic that i love as well
Various Artists - How the Grinch Stole Christmas - album cover

JETHRO TULL Christmas album isn't too bad but it's not outstanding either
Jethro Tull - The Jethro Tull Christmas Album - album cover

LOREENA MCKENNITT to drive the cold away is a decent slice of Celtic Folk Christmas
Loreena McKennitt - To Drive the Cold Winter Away - album cover

surprised no one has brought this one up
TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA's the lost christmas eve
these guys are basically the metal band Savatage under a different name. I like this one too
Trans-Siberian Orchestra - The Lost Christmas Eve - album cover

If you like humor in your Christmas then DR DEMENTO always satisfies
This is a tiny selection of select acts from his radio show and some is pretty friggin funny
Dr. Demento - Holidays in Dementia - album cover

and if you're really feeling twisted and perverted there's always RATED X-MAS that has done the blaphemous deed of making pornographic versions of beloved traditionals. With such classics gone wrong as "I Saw Mommy Fucking Santa Claus" and "Suck My Cock" (parady of Jingle Bell Rock) you can't but feel that you are a tad naughty listening to it and are surely on Santa's shit list for the year

One of my favorite Christmas tracks in the rock universe has to be:

Found a couple of good Xmas songs for this year!

The ever hilarious Psychostick doing SOAD:

And Corey Taylor. This song is great, and I don't usually like any of his music.
