I won't vote yet since I haven't heard the Fight album. It's on my (very long) list of albums to check out. I'm expecting to vote for Painkiller though out of style preference. I think War of Words is quite a diverse album, so I wouldn't call it 'just' a groove metal album. What it is is classic Halford, so I'm sure you'll like it. Voted Painkiller though. Much as I like War of Words, the only thing by Judas Priest or related acts that may stand a chance against it for me is Sad Wings of Destiny. |

Just been listening to it actually. I agree it's a great album. A better groove metal offering than Priest's Jugulator for starters. I agree about the diversity of it too. To be honest, the very first track would not sound out of place on a USPM album. I'm still leaning more towards Painkiller though.
