Which debut is your favorite by these big names in thrash metal?

I haven't heard them all, so I'm going to listen to all of them before voting. Tongue

Killing Is My Business and The Legacy are my favourites of those, voted the former

Metallica - Kill 'em All. It could have been The Legacy too though. None of the above are favorites of mine by any of the artists. They´ve all released far superior material later in their careers.

A lot of good bands and a lot of promise with patchy delivery. Kill 'Em All was the first of these I bought. Megadeth released marginally the better album in my opinion.

Like Unitron, I'll have to listen to them all first. Of the ones I have heard, I'd say Slayer's so far, but we'll wait and see!Wink

I'd probably go with Megadeth.

Good one, ha. It's too muddled down for me. It is also very amateurish for Megadeth in my opinion. They got better with Peace Sells in my honest opinion

I see no one has chosen Bonded By Blood, that is a bloody good album too.  Shame it came out so much later than the other guys.

That may be the case, but it's still the best thrash debut listed here to me, and obviously a lot of others agree.

There's no accounting for taste.

Yeah, it is really good. The re-recording is pretty damn good too. I still need to listen to all of these before I vote.

The re-recording is great with Exodus' more heavy modern sound.  It was a great take on the original.

I've only heard two of those albums (Metallica and Megadeth). Of the two I'd pick Metallica but I shan't put an actual vote in having heard so few of the options. I guess I still need to pay my thrash dues.

Sounds like it. You better do it quickly before your metallic image degrades. Shocked

It is a good album but I always had a problem with Paul Baloff's vocals which spoilt it for me.

Yeah I agree his vocals are a bit.....shit....but they sort of add to the albums special qualities.

After giving them all a listen, I'm going to go with Testament. That's one amazing debut.

Voted for Bonded by Blood because it broke my heart to see it with 0 votes. Otherwise, it was really a 3-way tie between Kill em All, Bonded by Blood and Alice in Hell, childhood obsessions, etc.
