I�ve been listening to the two demo tapes by Danish death metal act Caustic these last couple of days: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/caustic.aspx?ac=caustic. Really cool doomy and slightly progressive death metal. I have the "Timid Reality" demo on cassette tape. It�s probably one of the most interesting Danish death metal demos from those days.
Keeping in mind that this is a demo note the pretty stellar sound production. Also note the kind of jazzy drumming. Pretty unusual.
