Hie

I am not questioning my own judgement about placement in proto-metal even if they might seem odd, but when i first heard them i was shocked about how modern they sounded and metaly, heavy,,in both sound , elelments, and songstructure, compostions, the way they use keybords and textures, yes they are full fledged prog, but they have a heavy prog element, and a heavy psychadelic rock sound, to me they are pretty heavy for their time, not doomy like Sabbath, but flexible more like Zeppelin (with semi-virtose playing ), like more advanced Cream, JHE, some really fast guitar riffs, growling hammond, and nice metaly textures and mystisme,  sometimes the chaoticness, and echo effected guitar,

I wonder what metal fans would find Nektar interesting, find any fans of a metal sub in MMA, and play them Nektar

If you played Nektar to a power metal or glam metal fan would IT person like the music, if you played it to a Maidon fan what would the reaction be, if you played it to a stoner/doom metal fan ???, (in doom metal i find the psychadelic elements to (Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, Nektar etc) to be as prominant as the doom metal (Sabbat, Pentagram) the crushing riffs is more oftne then not married with the dreamyness, outstretched structures of psychadelic rock and space rock,,,, im not certain on it but im bit wondering if psychadelic rock have been a vitarl part of the development of stoner rock/metal and doom metal... Pink Floyd or Cream after Sabbath lot of influence in that style (to my ears atleast Embarrassed),,,

question is
What fan of metal would find Nektar interesting, appealing and inpiering
