Darkisideof - You may like this Thread Big smile:
http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=26&PN=1

But absolutely love (I'd write comments next to all but I'm tired):
Iron Maiden love all. the new is pure Maiden.
Megadeth some times I think that Megadeth is better than metallica.
Metallica (up to "...And Justice for All) until the black album.
Voidvod (Huge fan of "The Outer Limits" and earlier works) quiet fantastic prog metal band.
Dream Theater (a fan since "WDADU" Smile . . . on LP!)
Symphony X ( if you like powermetal don't miss this band. they are mix of rapsody with dream Theater)
Opeth ( this band is a must. One the best metal band will hear. in my opinion. they are quiet powerful and incredible)
Pagan's Mind. this band sometimes sounds comercially metal but they are quiet fantastic.
Nightwish (just now getting more into them and appreciating it more these days) it took a while to get into them but they are quiet original they stuff remains me of Ayron.
Riverside Riveside is quiet like Porcupine tree but heavier.
Angra ( powermetal from brazil)
Dreamscape ( similar to Dream Theater quiet fantastic new band.)
Pain Of Salvation ( this has to be one the greatest and quiet original prog metal band that  to my ears are the Pin FLoyd of Prog metal. don't skip this quiet amazing band.)
Judas Priest
Enchant (Such an underated and great Band!) yeah very underated.. quiet amazing vocalist.
Zero Hour (Incredible!) agree love their heavy and powerful sound.
Winds. ( winds are a very oscure and have a very clean prog metal sound mix with stings. quiet great.
Watchtower (The Math Metal Pioneers along with "Cacophony") to bad they only sereral albums if I am not mistaken.
Fates Warning (The Arch era as well-as Alder) LOVE this band so fucking much!!! great records and emotional vocals and lyrics.
Andromeda (Been a fan since their 1st "printing" of the original debut with "Lawrence
Mackrory" on vocals Big smile) great stuff..
Ark (My Fave "Jrn" Band) Yeah Jorn to me is the greatest  vocalist right now. And I thought mainard was. but Jorn is quiet breath taking.
Ayreon (Arjen is a genius! Love his other projects as well) agee!
Dominici (Have been a fan of his since buying Dream Theaters "WDADU" on LP!) great albums I think mike porney was wrong with  Dominic.
Hourglass (Nice! Really cool band!) I think this a project but what a fucking great album.
OSI (Kevin, Matheos, Portnoy and Harrison have succesfully combined Radio Head
meets Dream Theater Tongue) jajajajaj!!!!
Sieges Even (Very sad they are not together anymore, but we have "Subsignal" Smile) mand that is sad news that I didn't know I love their albums so much.
Tool ( if you dont know Tool? I would say stop reading this post and start looking for their album it is a must.
Vanden Plas ( this band are very much influence by Dream Theater great albums.
Circus Maximus I
(The others you listed I am not familiar with but would like to check them out , G&R . . . I DONT
want to be familiar with LOL) Wink.

Again, forgive me everyone, for those who love these type of Bands, please checkout:
PrOgulus.com:
http://www.progulus.com/rprweb/playing.php
An ALL Request "Juke Box" driven Prog Rock/Metal Internet Radio Station out of Windsor
Colorado Big smile. Most of the bands listed above can be found there, and a TON of others.

Hmmm Ermm . . .
I need to find the time to add another List of Obscure Thrash Bands here and work on a Thread
for Technical-Thrash/Prog/Math Metal, maybe by 2013.

Oh and Sadus are pretty cool, I need to listen to their later albums but theyre debut is probably
one of the 1st Extreme Death Metal albums out there (keep in mind it debuted in 1990), called
"Swallowed in Black" :
Good Rid'nz -

Steve DiGiorgio playing his Fretless Bass is incredible!
