well for ca 9 years ago this band was my favourite and my introduction to heavier music but then later starden listening to Dream Theater and Queensryche and they suddenly became not so heavy but they stil were may intrduction to heavy rock or metal. they are not of the dark and scary metal or techincal progmetal, but they have influence more from some Speemetal acts like Motrhead but also classical metal bands like Led Zeppelin but to my ears there biggest influence are Soundgarden (also some Guns & Roses /Velvet Revolver influence.

what i think makes them Alternative metal is their creative structure of their soungs, these gyus are surely clever on their instruments and songwriting and their first album is to me a masterpiece of hard rock/alternative metal.
they are not extreme metal, but I think there guitar sound when they play loud  in chouruses are metal becouse they are pretty in your face attitude which is metal.

they have realy good vocalist

they had a short life this band only releasing two albums I only can write obout one of them (the other one I havent heard for years even though I have it somewhere)

but there debute Mass Destruction is to my ears a masterpiece (or close to one) this may only be hard hard rock, but they should not be overlooked becouse they have more mellow structure in some of their songs thir verses are prette much most vocals wile they pick up the intensity when the chorus enters.

tracks on Mass Destruction which I will recomend to listen to
Found
Don't Think the Way they Do (you need to se the video as well)
Peacful (this is sort of influeced by stareway to heaven  on the structure not musicaly it starts calm and become the heaviest track on the record)
Papa (soundgarden ish)
Stay As you Are (my second favourite KILLER RIFF
Buckle Under Pressure
Wildeflower (speed metal ish only happier)
When she Stares (their best Song  seriously this song is realy good and interesting, and with some progressive elements as well, yes I know this is not prog archives but  it had to be said)

their second albums is could Vs Time and to what I recall its heavier but I don't remember for shur (tomorrow I can come back to that.

and they dont use dobble bass drums so keep that in mind

And for information it is frustrationly hard to search on them on Google without getting images of Mass Destruction or C-SPan (what that is I dont know), I don't know if they had or have Maspace but they probably have some songs on YouTube.

maybe some other Norwegians (I forgot to mention that they are Norwegian) here remember them as well they were thought of as the real big thing back in 2001 and could go far had they staid together longer they had potential.

I would Liste to the album Mass Destrcution track for track as it is a nearly flawless album

why are people refusing to coment on this even if it is not fully metal i think I have given enough Youtube samples to atleast aweake some inch of interest this was realy a verry good hard rock/metal band which only releast two albums with metalic flavour but with hooks and punky attitude thats whay I labeld them alternative (or traditional even if they are not so old)

Sorry Embarrassed I listened to them and found them too lacking in metalness to be included in Alt, so I threw the ball to the Trad team, which happens to be very understaffed at the moment. I guess I should have posted something here even though there isn't any final word yet, I'm sorry. But I don't believe that they would fit in Traditional either.

Borderline, but the trad metal team has decided to add Span. They might be moved to hard rock when, and if, that subgenre is added to MMA.

Thank you for your suggestion, and if you want to write a bio, please contact a collab.
