5 bands that i think are really good and have different thigns to offer to metalheads, power, thechicalit, complexity, dencety, creativety and brutality,

5 of my most important metal bands that i think would be integral if i ever joined a metal band it would be evidential that i have listend to them

i droped in Mammoth Volume couse I think they deserve the atteintion they never got when they started up and then ended, i think fans of the other 5 bands WILL LOVE Mammoth Volume, a really awesome, fantastic, incredible band from Sweden

Definitely Isis

Gojira and Mastodon are awesome too, but nothing they've made appeals to me nearly as much as Panopticon or Oceanic.  Mastodon also seems to be on the downfall, IMO

Lamb of God: Saw them opening for Metallica, had absolutely nothing to offer me. I admit I hated it partly because there was a schedule mix up and I thought Mastodon was going to play. They had already finished and I had to endure the LOG set.
Gojira: I tried the latest album once, but made it through one song before quitting. Perhaps just not a good moment, guess I've gotta give them another chance.
Mastodon: The best metal band today.
Isis: They peaked on the last album and knew when to stop. Wavering Radiant is brilliant, other albums good too.
Mammoth Volume: Haven't heard.

I like Isis. And the more experimental bands related to it are good too: 5ive, MGR, Windmills BTO, HLC, Lotus Eaters.

Probably Gojira for me although I enjoy the all first four artists on the list to some degree.

Mammoth Volume? Never heard of them...
