why arent this band in MMA yet i thought they were a fairly important Alternative metal act alongside Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, i think they should be in this page, i also think posting songs is not worth it since people her knows them, i would recomend Spotify though their you find some albums so you can evaluate them their,
if they are here then this thread can be locked but if they are not then this should not be negelected

Yes, back in the early days we didn't find enough metal elements to add them, alt rock is the main tag I'd say, but since then many alt metal rejects have been re-evaluated with a more open mind, and added.

If someone would like to put a strong case together for Jane's Addiction, they could be given another look by the alt-metal and hard rock guys. Some Youtube videos of some of their most relevant material would be of help. They can potentially be added on the basis of one or two heavy albums, so show us where to look.
BTW Chris, I'm not on Spotify, so I can't look there.
