They are relatively new but making a real impact in magazines at the moment. Saw them in metal magazines recently
I dont know what genre - prog metal? Gothic?
Heres a clip \
Nuclear Blast is the label
ANd websites
not hugely heavy but theres metal influences there.
Perhaps heavier than a lot of artists here.
anyway just a suggestion.

You're a collab, so you can post your suggestions in the relevant genre team threads

They're easy on the eyes, but damn that is some horrible music! |

Only heard one song from them. I was under the impression that despite attention from metal press (which I expect is mostly because of Tuomas Holopainen taking them under his wing), that they were a pop rock group. The song I heard was kind of symphonic, but I'd say symphonic rock would be a more accurate description.
As I said, I've only heard one song, but that's my pennies worth on them.

I think my ears fell off after I listened to that
Yeah, I agree that they are more on the rock side, though maybe they had one peice of metal in the song above...maybe |

Every song I've heard from them is far from being metal. I'm not sure how many I have heard, but they are played occasionally in the radio. As far as I know, they're a pop group.
So I vote no, hell no |

There was some confusion about when they signed to Nuclear Blast, because apparently the common consensus is that there is nothing remotely metal in their music. I myself have never heard their music, so I can't say (obviously I could take a listen now, but I've got another album going so I won't).
If they do get added, I predict ridicule from everyone who knows them especially from before the times Holopainen got acquainted with them.

What I heard in that sample really isn't metal but might be a borderline Gothic case. But please don't call stuff like this prog metal, that's insulting
