At the moment I'm listening to Whitesnake's live album Live... In the Heart of the City, and thought about checking if the band was here. It is - but in very much the wrong category. Even though they might be known in the USA as an Eighties-style hair metal band, in their career they only recorded TWO albums which fit this description - 1987 and Slip of the Tongue. Their output prior to those two successful albums is very different, very much in a traditional British hard-blues mould, and featuring such greats of classic British hard rock as Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Cozy Powell, Neil Murray (who was also in Colosseum II and National Health), and even cult bassist Colin Hodgkinson. Being familiar with their whole output, I'd suggest they are moved to Traditional HM for now, then possibly to a new Hard Rock category.

I prefer the early era and I also beleive a Hard Rock section should be a future possible consideration.
