Hey guys,
What do you think about adding Seether to alternative metal? They may be a controversial case, but I find them to be completely metal (at least from the album that I own). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seether Any thoughts?  |

We voted them down with Negoba in the early days, when we had a "borderline = no" policy. I may confuse them with some other band we checked out, but I thought the stuff I managed to hear was pretty soft. But I may have heard the wrong stuff, so other opinions are of course welcome

I listened to a couple of their albums a few years ago, never really got into them much so that was the last time I heard them, so I'm no expert. I don't recall ever thinking of them as a metal band though.

I'd say they're pure alt rock. No metal material whatsoever, IMO.
