Here's the thrash metal poll of the modern classics series, except this one's a bit of a farce because I had to go all the way down to number 264 on the RYM thrash chart to get 25 albums from the 2006 - 2016 period so hardly any of these probably fit the billing. Regardless this is the top 25 from RYM, taking any repeat bands out (Vektor would be on here three times otherwise).

Guess no one needed telling that thrash has long peaked though.

This is one that I'll have to think about, it's a tie between Overkill, Death Angel, and Havok for me.
If I say fuck two more times that's forty-six fucks in this fucked up rhyme

Went with Overkill, but those other two follow closely.

Vektor wins easily for me. No other current thrash band comes close to what can they do.

Vektor, though I think Terminal Redux has the higher chance of being considered a classic in the future. Black Future may be rated a little higher on RYM right now but you've got to take into account that being an incredibly popular album Terminal Redux will have had the down-raters come out in droves, and despite that there's only a miniscule difference in score.
