DISCOURSE: Blow The Scene Cranks Out New Track From South Carolina Hardcore Quartet; Debut LP Out Next Week

Now just days from hitting via Closed Casket Activities, a new track has been shed from DISCOURSE's debut LP, Sanity Decays, with the premiere of "Time Pries" playing exclusively at Blow The Scene. The second track from the LP bears some of the most tumultuous but seamless, bellowing riffage on the entire album, raging with technical slick sense of brutality reminiscent of heroes Botch and Turmoil, with a remorseless delivery which still allows the album's pristine production qualities to shine.

Hear DISCOURSE's "Time Pries" exclusively via Blow The Scene RIGHT HERE.

Also hear album-opener "Cure," featuring guest vocals from Thomas Pearson of Foundation, via Lambgoat HERE.

Sanity Decays' ten vigorous tracks boast Columbia, South Carolina-based hardcore outfit DISCOURSE's refreshing hybrid of jagged hardcore, citing the likes of purveyors Turmoil, Indecision and Buried Alive, with a vibrant approach that breathes furious punk rock energy with enraged, modern sensibilities. Recorded with Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos) at Bricktop Recording Studio in Chicago, and the vocals captured at The Jam Room with Jay Matheson in the band's hometown, Sanity Decays was mixed by Nelson and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Integrity, Nails, Tragedy), and bears cover art by Jesse Schaller (Skeletonwitch, Xibalba, Suburban Scum).

Closed Casket Activities releases Sanity Decays on January 27th through 12" vinyl and digital formats. Preorders are available HERE.

Following their upcoming Southeast US tour with Blistered, running from February 4th through the 10th, and including Midwest Blood Fest with Bitter End, Fire & Ice, Naysayer, Bent Life and many others in Louisville, Kentucky, DISCOURSE has also been added to this year's installment of the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival in Worcester, Massachusetts, set to play Friday, April 17th alongside the likes of Code Orange, Homewrecker, Overcast and more.
