XIBALBA Releases "Enemigo" Video

XIBALBA has just released an official video for "Enemigo," the opening anthem to their Southern Lord-bound third LP, Tierra Y Libertad, which is now just two weeks from release.

With nearly forty-four minutes of unrelenting violence and the band's most savage, death metal-fueled hardcore breakdowns to date, Pomona, California-based XIBALBA's intimidating Tierra Y Libertad was recorded by Taylor Young at The Pit in Van Nuys (Nails, Twitching Tongues, Disgrace), and bears artwork by Dan Seagrave (Dismember, Entombed, Suffocation). Directed by ARTRIPOLI, the band's decimating tones and the crushing production of the album are joined with a hybrid of performance footage and a foreboding storyline in the "Enemigo" video, which is now available through a premiere at Revolver, who just crowned the album with a 4/5 review in their January issue.

Noisey also released Tierra Y Libertad's third track, "Invierno," at THIS LOCATION.

Southern Lord will issue Tierra Y Libertad on CD, grey vinyl 12" and digital outlets on January 27th in North America. Preorders have now been made available direct through XIBALBA's Southern Lord store HERE, and BandCamp HERE, as well as through All In Merch including a t-shirt package and more HERE.

As Tierra Y Libertad hits the streets, the band will also, with a bi-coastal storm of record release shows to inundate the US next month. XIBALBA will hit Los Angeles and Berkeley on January 30th and 21st with All Out War and Skinfather, followed by a San Diego show on February 7th with Excel and Rotting Out. Directly after that they'll raid the East Coast with five shows from February 18th through 22nd. With shows in Albany, Haverhill, Amityville, Baltimore and Providence slated with The Banner on all dates, Rude Awakening will play the last three shows, and All Out War will also join the Amityville and Baltimore dates.
