Yeah it is a bit. Last Light is much improved. There's the Redux version of 2033 now though which should be a lot better. I still need to pick that up. Not sure I'll bother with Last Light Redux though.

It was to pre-order, 50% off but they stopped the offer as soon as it was released. It'll go on 75% off or more eventually. Almost everything does.

Humble Bundle and similar is the reason why my Steam account is full of games I will probably never touch.
 Only game I intend to pay full price for is The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (well I get £15 off with standard Steam discount plus extra discount for owning an earlier title on Steam). I probably would have pre-ordered already but I'm wary of pre-ordering anything for which the system requirements are not yet out for. I think I will be OK (maybe not for ultra) as I have quite a decent rig (8GB RAM, 2GB graphics card, i5 quad core processor etc) but you never know, especially when there are some recent games I don't even meet the minimum for (The Evil Within).

YES oh man, The Witcher games are just genius!! I've been a fan of the books for like my whole life (Sapkowski is really big here in Poland, surprise surprise
 ) and the games are just as good.

I remember reading a little bit of english translation in a bookstore somewhere. Until I played the games, I couldn't imagine Sapkowski's juicy swagger sound as good in any other language than polish, but the dialogues in The Witcher 2, which imitate the style of the books, proved me wrong. I also played it in french, and it sounded good too! Although Geralts voice was terrible, unlike the english one. EDIT: not that I think polish is superior, I actually think that on most levels it's inferior to english. It's just that The witcher books are written with some archaic phrases and unique stylistic edges put into it.
