Same here.  I only remember hearing the song "Deadly Sinners" years ago.  I can't comment on the album, but I don't really dig the band.

I discovered 3 Inches of Blood some years back, but Ive always had trouble appreciating them for more than a couple of tracks a time. The screaming vocals really annoy me at times...

^^ haha. I wouldn't put it that way but your friend is clearly out of his mind. Or has no idea what he is talking about. Or is playing for 3 Inches of Blood.

I wouldn't say it's the greatest metal album ever, but it is surprisingly brilliant. It's fun, at times goofy, has some amazing guitar work and the vocalists have great discourse throughout. Anyone who hasn't heard it, needs to give it a listen, it may surprise you

Yeah, I don't think it's the best either. But, I always reserve a special place in my heart and ear drums for bands that have a unique sound. I think they lost that sound after that album, but yeah. Just thought it was decent food for thought.
