My favorite is Maiden, but Black Sabbath are the most influential IMO. Iron Maiden and Judas Priest probably wouldn't have existed were it not for Sabbath.

Iron Maiden and Judas Priest have mainly only influenced metal bands, but Black Sabbath has had a large impact on both rock and metal.
