Who can advise some site where newly created band can promote its music? As we have founded our band, but we still do not know how to make it popular. One of my friends surfed the internet and came across very useful website [removed] With the help of this site we created our EPK (Electronic Press Kit), FB and iPhone Apps without the help of expensive Web Masters and Designers. By the way, EPK costs only from $5. Maybe someone knows some other websites, something like reverbnation, something cheap and affordable.

edit: spam links removed

I think Bandcamp and Reverbnation are both good options.

Thirding Bandcamp.  I'm not a musician so I don't know anything about the distribution process, but as a listener I can say that I've found an incredible amount of independent music on that website, and it's all fantastic.  The people there do a great job of supporting the artists, and it's way friendlier to use than sites like Myspace and Facebook.  Probably won't get the social networking aspect there as much as those two websites, but I'd still give it a shot.
