Awww... still no love for Bad Company?  They were the first band I really got into. Quite underrated I feel.

While I liked a few songs of theirs (especially in the first few albums), I always thought of BC as a corporate rock band "avant-la-lettre.... they just seemed to ne like they were almost faking it, as if in a desperate attempt to make a fortune... They don't convince me and I doubt the "sincerity" of their music, despite my liking some of the commercial tracks as well.
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicted musicians to crazy ones....

Many albums from many of these bands are in my collection.  My vote goes to Foreigner as they are my favorite of the bands listed.  Uncle Ted does get much consideration, as well as Blue Oyster Cult and Uriah Heep.

Uriah Heep, for the Byron era especially.

Thin Lizzy and UFO are other favourites from the list.
